The Lodge at Mauston

We spent a night at The Lodge and attended a wedding reception here. What an amazing facility. The rooms are amazing huge, modern, beautiful and spotless. Everyone said the beds were the most comfortable they've ever slept on and the pillows were as well. The reception food and drinks and service was exceptional. All the staff were friendly, helpful, patient.

We stopped here overnight on a cross country drive. The location was very convenient, just down the road from the highway and near to all the gas stations we needed upon departure. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. She offered to light a fire pit for us if it cooled down from the 95 degree heatwave they were having, and directed us to the bar for local brews. The room was spacious and quiet with a little table we sat and played card games at with our 2 teens while my husband and I enjoyed a local hefeweissen beer. The ac kept up with the heat so we slept comfortably, the beds were more comfortable than most hotel beds, and the bathroom was decent sized with good water pressure. Our room had one king and one queen, which suited or family of 4 just perfectly. Breakfast was good if somewhat typical hotel fare. They had waffle makers, eggs, sausage, pastries, and cereal. The price was reasonable, on par with what a holiday inn express might charge, and the experience was superior. We didn't use it, but they're is an indoor pool and on site restaurant as well as an outdoor sitting area in the courtyard. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Nice hotel! Stayed in a king suite. Was comfortable! Only changes I would make would be to add an end table next to the sofa; or since it had a mini kitchen, add a very small table and like 2 chairs. I think there would have been room - the seating area was large. The lobby was very welcoming and we had a good complimentary breakfast before we checked out. Convenient location and well maintained.

The Lodge has this deal now through the end of March, I think. Friday nights is 2 dinners, an appetizer, two desserts, breakfast in the morning with an overnight stay only $150!! It's a great package getaway!! Plus you can choose ANY room you want! We chose the king suite, which is super roomy with a private bedroom, a living area, nice kitchenette, and spacious bath. Everything is very clean and the staff is really friendly and helpful. Derrik? Darryl? At the front desk is really great...fun personality, knowledgeable, and helpful. We used the hot tub and pool for a bit, which were clean and warm!! The dinners are out of this world fantastic!! I can't say enough good about this hotel and restaurant. We don't even live that far away, but used this as a special weekend getaway. We will be back!!

This is a great find. Close to the highway, but not too close, plenty of gas stations nearby to fill up when continuing your journey or need ice, etc. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfy. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again and would recommend to anyone in the area. They have all the amenities including outdoor fire pits. Plenty of parking, as well.

The super friendly staff. Standard hotel room is much bigger than other hotels. Very clean. Safe environment. Highly recommend.

This was our first stay here, and we will definitely be back. Loved everything! Great new hotel.

This hotel is nice and reasonably priced. They offer a free breakfast every morning. While it's no 'greasy spoon', there are many options for everyone and it's not terrible. We stayed for a week and found out that they don't turn over your room. So, we had to ask them to empty the very small garbage cans and bring us more towels. The pool & hot tub are nice and there's basic a fitness center. This was our second stay here and we'd have no problem staying here again.
